The Campus and Community Partner will be responsible for developing applicant channels and sourcing tactics for identified hourly-paid positions in the Retirement Living and Long Term Care divisions.   The focus is to maximize the communication of Revera’s employment brand as “the” place to work for target candidate demographics and to develop productive relationships with organizations that can supply qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on our current relationships with schools, colleges, universities and community partners regionally and nationally and assess the effectiveness of these partnerships;
  • Conduct research with key stakeholders internally to identify the business priorities around hourly-paid positions;
  • In partnership with the Manager – Talent Acquisition, create prioritized plan for year one (which roles/schools/programs/community associations) and begin to execute the plan;
  • Develop relationships and act as the primary point of contact for identified strategic partners including community and professional associations and specific academic institutions;
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, and collaborate to implement national and regional recruiting initiatives by sharing subject matter expertise on recruiting practices;
  • In partnership with Operations, plan and arrange attendance at various community and campus recruitment events with presentations for targeted talent pools;
  • Develop tools for strategic recruiting events and create awareness with hiring teams, providing them with coaching and guidance;
  • Act as an ambassador of Revera, articulating our corporate culture, purpose, values and student opportunities;
  • Provide accurate and timely information and metrics on campus recruitment activities;
  • Monitor industry and market trends to develop and implement tactics that maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace;
  • Uphold and promote the organization’s values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality, and integrity as set out in Revera’s Code of Conduct; and
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned.



  • One to three years of demonstrated campus and/or community recruitment program leadership experience preferred
  • Good understanding of and prior experience in healthcare industry preferred
  • Post-secondary degree in a Human Resources, Business or related field, CHRL completed or in progress
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
  • Exhibits strong personal presence when facilitating presentations
  • Experience creating marketing campaigns is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on customer focus
  • Excellent organizational, project management and prioritization skills to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel to universities and colleges across Canada and manage a high workload during critical planning and recruitment periods
  • High motivation, creativity, passion, resilience and pro-active approach
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
