Reporting to the CIO, the Director – IT Project Delivery is an inspirational leader.  While you are tactical, you bring a level of passion and enthusiasm to the table that is unprecedented.  You drive for results through empowerment of your team and peers.  You are highly collaborative and believe that your success is driven from the success of those around you.   You have the capability to plan and prioritize the management and execution of projects that are directed toward the achievement of the strategic plan and business/organizational objectives.  This role will work closely with IT Leadership and the business to lead the IT project analysis, planning and execution activities to ensure strong collaboration and alignment with business stakeholders.  Furthermore, this role will be accountable for setting project management standards while ensuring the system architecture, change management plan and system sustainability exceeds the expectations of our stakeholders.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the successful delivery of projects, in collaboration with Project Sponsor, on time and within budget;
  • Define and monitor projects that should be managed within IT and support how projects outside of IT are managed and implemented;
  • Create appropriate and standardized documentation for projects including project charters, project plans, work breakdown estimates and related activities;
  • Build project management knowledge and capacity within the organization;
  • Guide/enable team members to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work;
  • Act as the primary liaison to business leaders/PMO;
  • Develop collaborative relationships with all stakeholders;
  • Manage vendors as it relates to the delivery of project services including RFI, RFP, cost and contract negotiations;
  • Prepare and manage OPEX, CAPEX, project budget and future scenario modelling;
  • Build a high performing team through staff development, recruiting and retention to support growing business needs;
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities as required;
  • Coach, mentor and manage project managers and project coordinators;
  • Participate proactively in maintaining and developing standards, tools, and best practices;
  • Lead Kaizen/LEAN/Design Thinking events that ensure we are deploying best in class solutions;
  • Conduct lessons learned sessions upon completion of project;
  • Develop and manage internal business relationships that encourage open communication and trust;
  • Uphold and promote the values relating particularly to ethics, morality, and integrity as set out in Revera’s Code of Conduct; and
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned.


Required Education, Credentials and Experience: 

  • Specialized post-secondary education in Business or IT
  • 5-7 years of experience in Project Management, leading business projects
  • PMP certification preferred not required but helpful
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing multiple cross-functional teams
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to conduct research into issues and products as required
  • Self-motivated and directed with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in dealing with people management and communicating effectively to resolve issues or conflicts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Proven customer service oriented team player
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and changing priorities
  • Experience with change management
