Reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Development, the Corporate Strategy Manager will be responsible for conducting analysis and market research to refine the corporate strategic plan and provide support for the rationale of strategic initiatives and investments. In addition, this role will work closely with senior management to prepare presentations on the above activities for executives and the Board.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and support to strategy development initiatives both at the Corporate and Division levels;
  • Work with Division-level leaders in strategic planning and analysis;
  • Collaborate on key strategic initiatives across Revera’s brands, regions, and functions;
  • Support key research projects including 5-year strategic plan and updates, target markets, geography, competitor, regulatory, etc.;
  • Analyze and synthesize research findings, both qualitative and quantitative, to identify key market implications including opportunities for growth and strategic challenges. Manage internal stakeholders and communications;
  • To use best practices to identify, refine or develop processes related to investments, partner relationships and operations.
  • Prepare formal presentations appropriate for senior management as well as for the Board of Directors;
  • Build understanding of and report upon market/consumer intelligence, competitive analysis, and metrics;
  • Support the Corporate Development department with strategic elements related to acquisitions, developments, divestitures and venture capital opportunities;
  • Support M&A and development initiatives with data and analysis on market size, market growth, competitive differentiation and other key due diligence needs;
  • Build effective relationships with colleagues from across the organization;
  • Remain current on company operations, economic, political, regulatory, industry, and stock market outlook; and
  • Uphold and promote the organization's values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality and integrity as set out in Revera's Code of Conduct.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, finance, accounting or related field. MBA is optional
  • 2-5 years of experience in strategy consulting preferred, corporate development or accounting;
  • Self-starter with well-developed interpersonal and influence skills; ability to create strong working relationships across all levels and disciplines in the company, driving progress through influence; ability to interact independently with senior leaders; executive presence, business judgment, and maturity;
  • Very strong problem-solving skills;
  • Top-notch quantitative and analytical skills; ability to find structure, logic, and insight in complex business problems to provide meaningful conclusions;
  • Ability to structure documents and quantitative analyses to effectively communicate with senior management; able to articulately present and debate recommendations;
  • Strong project management capabilities with ability to thrive in a project-based, collaborative team environment; and
  • Proficiency working within a large scale, regulated operations environment.
