Reporting to the Executive Director, the Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for liaising with Residents and Families during the admission process and annually thereafter. They assist in ensuring superior accounting practices or accounts payable and receivables.

Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for staff scheduling
- Liaises with Residents, families, and outside agencies
- Ensures that all appropriate contacts, including area physicians, are established and maintained within the community in order to maximize the availability of potential tenants/residents and to obtain feedback with regard to the services required.
- Participates in the development of the annual business plan, operating budget, capital plan, marketing plan and continuous quality improvement.
- Assists with maintaining the business files of Residents, Employees, Suppliers and Service Contracts.
- Ensures that potential clients and/or families are provided with all pertinent information, including a detailed tour of the facility. Develops and run pre-admission seminars and other appropriate workshops in co-operation with other staff.
- Provide additional payroll and general office support as required.
- Work in a position of trust with vulnerable adults (residents).
- Uphold and promote the organization's values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality, and integrity as set out in Revera's Code of Conduct.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Community college level Business Accounting courses or equivalent
- Previous experience in health care or with geriatric patients an asset.
- Must have experience in Microsoft Word, Windows & Excel along with other general computer applications.
- Proficiency in a second language is an asset.
- Knowledge of Empath, E-Admin and Kronos operating systems considered an asset.
- Proven ability to close sales and experience in working effectively with seniors in a health care environment.
- Marketing experience would be a great asset.
- Must provide a complete and current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one
