Mission:

Reporting to the Workday Financial Systems Support Manger, the Workday Financial Systems Support Analyst is responsible for accurately changing the configuration of the Finance System (Workday) as directed by the Financial System Support Manager.

Key Outcomes:

  • Required configuration changes are competed accurately, effectively and on a timely basis
  • Configuration requests are appropriately challenged and clarified as required – to avoid unplanned consequences.
  • Technical expertise is used to identify opportunities to enhance system functionality and support upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance of Workday Finance system configurations, such as cost centers, companies and consolidation hierarchies, and maintain master data values in Workday across areas of responsibility, such as FDM;
  • Support with testing and implementation of Business Process changes, system upgrades and enhancements in Workday;
  • Provide input to Workday Finance Lead and other team members as appropriate;
  • Review Workday integrity reports and assist in analyzing, escalating and resolving issues detected;
  • Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training in order to improve process & system acumen;
  • Support with training of users, maintenance of training documentation and answering application questions related to Workday;
  • Other projects and duties as may be required by business needs;

  • To complete all other tasks as assigned.

Required Education, Credentials and Experience:

  • Understanding of Finance operations and experience in Finance data management and reporting;
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience;
  • Experience with accounting and enterprise/financial reporting systems;
  • Ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess the clients’ needs and situation;
  • Knowledge of financial concepts and principles;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented; and
  • Ability to interpret financial data.
