Reporting to the Documentation Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Documentation Clerk performs scanning and indexing of invoices; ensures batch readiness; and verifies the scanned documents in the accounting application.


Responsibilities

  • To perform scanning and indexing of invoices;
  • To prepare batches;
  • To verify scanned documents in JD Edwards application;
  • To meet scanning quota for documents scanned and indexed per day;
  • To resolve minor computer issues;
  • To set up/revise vendors in JDE Supplier Master;
  • To uphold and promote the organization’s values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality, and integrity as set out in Revera’s Code of Conduct;
  • To complete all other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • High school graduate, college diploma in related field an asset;
  • Basic Understanding of Accounts Payable with ability to identify basic errors
  • Administrative experience in a mid to large-size public company preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude with a "can do" approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work independently, while still demonstrating team spirit and willingness to assist other team members
  • Ability to work well under stress and deadlines
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards, Synergizer considered an asset
  • Highly organized with excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Extensive Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Minimal travel may be required within North America
