Reporting to the Senior Treasury Manager, the Treasury Administrative Assistant handles various tasks that are part of the day to day management of the Treasury function. The Treasury Administrative Assistant updates the daily cashflow spreadsheets, initiates funds transfers as directed, tracks cash movements, runs reports, and resolves miscellaneous banking issues.

Key Responsibilities

 

Banking and Cash Management

  • Generates bank reports and updates daily cash spreadsheet;
  • Initiates funds transfers as directed by the Cash Manager;
  • Bank contact for day to day cash management related problem resolutions;
  • Assist the Cash Manager with set up of new cash management arrangements and other cash management specific duties;

 Services to sites

  • Petty cash set up updates;
  • Signing authority updates
  • Order deposit slips, cheque books and other stationery


Lender reporting

  • Gather data and prepare responses for requests of proof of property tax payment and other lender requests for information;


Mail

  • Sort high volume of mail and distribute to relevant parties;


Reporting

  • Run reports and obtain monthly data from various groups for internal use and file accordingly.

 

Qualifications

  • College education/pursuing or completed undergraduate degree or relevant experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in an Administrative role
  • Experience working in the Accounting/Finance/Treasury/Banking function is preferred
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong computer skills with intermediate Excel skills
  • Diligent, proactive, systematic
  • Able to multi-task
  • A team player
